Hi, here is my history in brief:

I was born in 1981 in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

In 1994 I decided that I`ll be a professional musician and gathered some friends and created Karfagen, although it was a school band we played mainly our own music and in 1997 I entered architectural university, (I`m an architect by profession) but I continued to walk the musical road.

And in 1998 I recorded my first "album" in a studio, looking back it was very raw and unprofessional, I was only 17 and what i knew about mixing and mastering was nothing. Hey, but I never gave up!

Until 2001 lots of the vocals were written in Russian, later in 2001 I completed my first fully electronic album " The Water "(new age, ambient, art - rock). From 2003 until 2006 I composed and recorded lots of new age and enigmatic stuff, It was a commercial step but this gave me an opportunity to be a self employed musician working on my music the whole day. It was the time of learning and it opened new horizons for me.

In 2005 I met Will Mackie of Caerllysi Music via the internet who said that my music is worthy of released in the 'big" world, this inspired me very much and in late 2005 the first Karfagen album Continium was recorded, it was released on Unicorn Digital (Canada) on 1st of july.

September 2006, Will and me, were becoming really good friends and we started working on Hoggwash in Nov/ Dec 2006, - the second Karfagen album "The Space Between Us" was ready, it was released by Unicorn Digital on 11th of February (date of my birthday).

On the 15th October 2007 Hoggwash, The Last Horizon was released, this is a very important album for me, I think it has really enriched my musical colours and it was the first album on the Caerllysi Music label, which became a production label for progressive and art -rock music.

31 March 2008, my project Sunchild, The Gnomon, was released on the Caerllysi Music label, this time I invited a lot of very talented Ukrainian musicians onboard. I think it`s really a great concept musical journey, 2 cds of powerful material!

My three favourite bands are Pink Floyd, Camel and Focus, also here is a list of names who's music i like very much : Pat Metheny, Snowy White, Kayak, Colin Bass, SBB named a few. 1st classic art album i heard was Delicate Sound of Thunder by PF in early 90s.

1st prog rock album was Retropolis by the Flower Kings in late 2001....
Favourite hobbies are : journeys in to the world of nature and the sun :) and i like small cars :):)
Favourite live show: Roger Waters - In the Flesh 2000.
The last cd that i bought is Kayak "Coming Up For Air"..
